Blessings raise Lullaby for Columbine benefit CD to new heights.
We wanted to get the word out about all of the wonderful things happening for the Lullaby for Columbine Project in 2000 as we approach the one year anniversary of the Columbine tragedy.  We were founded shortly after the Columbine shooting to provide financial aid and healing to the victims through music.  To learn more about our mission and the wonderful people behind the scenes, please visit the LFC website.  We want to thank David Vande Velde at MoneyTeam Webservices for hosting the LFC News so we can keep you informed on everything happening with our project.

LFC Acquires Sponsor for National Release.
USA Video Interactive has recently joined forces in becoming our sponsor to help with the costs of our national release.  They donated $25,000 to help us meet our distribution arrangement with the Musicland Group who will be selling our CDs in over a 1000 stores in fifty states through their Sam Goody, MediaPlay, and On Cue music outlets.   USA Video Interactive is also partnering with us in promoting our project via the Internet. Do check out their site which tells more about it from our recent press release: USA Video Interactive.   On behalf of the victims of Columbine and our production team, we extend our heartfelt thanks for USA Video Interactive to catch our vision and run with it!

Amazon.Com Becomes Exclusive Online Retailer for LFC.

LFC Beams its Message to the Sky!
The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) flew out their crew to tape members of our project and victims of the Columbine tragedy recently.   The footage will be used for a news segment to be aired on the week of the 20th across the country.  Its primary focus is to address the spiritual aspects and the positive things that have come from the Columbine tragedy.  Our thanks to Pamela Newby, producer and writer of the story for capturing the vision of our project and spreading the word of our spirit-filled effort!

PAX station, Channel 59 in Denver, is planning on airing our 15 and 30 second spots produced by Beyond Digital over the Columbine anniversary week.  We thank them for this wonderful opportunity to get the word out locally of our benefit CD!

The Columbine 5K Run
Our benefit CDs will be on sale at the Columbine Memorial 5K Run and Walk on Sunday, April 16th.  The race begins at 9:00 a.m. at Clement Park near Columbine High School.   This inaugural event will establish the Columbine Memorial Scholarship Fund.  Over 4,000 participants are expected to show up to run or walk.  If you would like to learn more about the race or participate in it, contact Ann Kelly at 303-796-8845 or visit the BKB Limited website.  See you there with your running shoes on!

Healing Notes
Many of the Columbine victims have shared with us the wonderful healing our CD has brought them.  Aside from the funds being raised, the music alone is already making a powerful impact on so many of their lives.  The Columbine families are always are in our prayers and we wish them peace and comfort during the upcoming anniversary which we know will be a challenging time for them.
